FAQs: BILT Rewards Contacts

1. What is BILT Rewards and how does it work?

BILT Rewards is a loyalty program for renters. It allows you to earn points by paying rent through the BILT platform — without any transaction fees. These points can be redeemed for travel, fitness classes, rent credits, and more.

You can also apply for the BILT Mastercard, which lets you earn even more points on rent and other everyday purchases, again without fees.

Learn more about the program on the official BILT Rewards website.

2. Can I pay rent with the BILT Mastercard even if my landlord doesn’t accept credit cards?

Yes! If your landlord doesn’t accept credit cards, BILT can send them a check or ACH payment on your behalf — at no cost to you. You still earn points when paying rent this way using your BILT Mastercard.

Details available in the Support Center under “Paying Rent.”

3. What are BILT Rewards points worth and how can I redeem them?

BILT Rewards points can be redeemed for:

  • Travel (including flights and hotels through transfer partners)
  • Rent credits
  • Fitness classes
  • Home décor or lifestyle items
  • A future down payment on a home

Each point typically has a value of about 1 cent or more, depending on how you redeem it. Transferring to travel partners often gives you the best value.

Learn about redemption options on the BILT Rewards homepage or through the Support Center.

4. How do I apply for the BILT Mastercard?

You can apply for the BILT Mastercard directly on the BILT website. The card is issued by Wells Fargo (for new accounts after March 28, 2022).

You’ll need to meet credit approval standards. The card has no annual fee, and you earn:

  • 1x points on rent (up to 100,000 points per year)
  • 2x points on travel
  • 3x points on dining
  • 1x points on other purchases

5. What if I had the old BILT Mastercard issued by Evolve Bank & Trust?

If you received your BILT Mastercard before March 28, 2022, it was issued by Evolve Bank & Trust. You can still get support through the older card customer service line:
844-389-5900

For all new applicants, cards are now issued by Wells Fargo.
833-404-2272

Transition questions are answered in the Support Center.

6. Is BILT available in all rental properties?

You don’t have to live in a participating BILT Alliance property to earn points. You can link any property and still earn points by paying rent through the app with your BILT Mastercard, even if the landlord isn’t in the BILT network.

However, those living in BILT Alliance properties may enjoy additional benefits, such as on-time rent reporting and exclusive promotions.

Use the Support Center to check if your property qualifies.

7. Can I transfer my BILT Rewards points to airline or hotel partners?

Yes! BILT has a wide network of travel transfer partners, including:

  • American Airlines AAdvantage®
  • United MileagePlus®
  • Hyatt
  • Air Canada Aeroplan
  • Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles

Transfers are generally at a 1:1 ratio, which is excellent compared to most credit card programs.

Full list of partners available at the BILT Rewards travel page.

8. How do I submit a support request to BILT?

If you need help, you can submit a support ticket directly online by filling out a form. This allows BILT’s support team to track your issue and respond via email.

Submit a request here: support.biltrewards.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

9. How do I close my BILT account?

To close your account, you need to contact customer service directly. Be sure to redeem any remaining points first. You can reach out via:

Additional details may be outlined in the Terms & Conditions.

10. Where can I find the BILT Rewards mobile app?

The BILT Rewards app is available for both iOS and Android. Through the app, you can:

  • Pay rent
  • Track points
  • Book travel
  • Redeem rewards
